Three Reindeer Flying Past a Snowy Window

Three reindeer leap through the air in a line, joined by a long harness strap, with tall branching antlers and little muzzle straps on their faces. They are flying just above a brick building with a snow-covered roof edge and several icicles hanging down. Below, a child leans out of an arched window, looking surprised, with a pile of snow resting on the windowsill. Another child peeks around the right side of the wall with a worried look. The brick wall gives lots of small rectangles to fill in. Try coloring each reindeer a different shade of brown and picking light blues and grays for the icicles and snow. It also works well for a storytelling prompt, asking kids what the two children might be thinking as they watch the reindeer pass overhead. This printable page suits a winter afternoon at home or a classroom holiday activity.
