Three cartoon race cars with big eyes and friendly grins race around a curve in this lively track scene. An open-wheel racer with a rear wing is out in front, with a rounded sports car and a sleek coupe with a tall spoiler right behind it. Past the fence, grandstands are full of fans waving flags, and light towers stand on both sides. More flags wave overhead, and a small blimp drifts by among the fluffy clouds. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the clouds, the blimp and the open sky with pale sky blue, and leave the stadium stands and the crowd white for now.
- 2Fill the grass on the right with leaf green and the curb stripes with bright red, keeping the white curb stripes white.
- 3Color the track surface and the lower wall panels with medium gray and light gray, and shade the grandstand roofs with deep blue and slate gray.
- 4Paint the blue race car with bright blue and royal blue, and the green race car with leaf green, keeping every eye white and the windshield and roof white.
- 5Color the yellow race car's nose, wings and flags with golden yellow, then add bright red to its side stripes and nose, and fill the tires with charcoal gray.
- 6Optional: Add a darker shade of gray to the tires and track edges for a bit of depth.
