Timon the Meerkat Announcing Big News With Open Arms

Timon the meerkat stands upright on two feet with both arms flung out to the sides and his hands open wide. His eyes are squeezed shut and his mouth is open in a big grin, like he's announcing something to everyone nearby. Short fur tufts show at his chest, shoulders and the top of his head. A long, thin tail curves up behind him, with a small band marked near the tip. The outlines are bold and clean, with lots of open space on the belly, arms and tail, so younger kids can color without much trouble. Try sandy tan and warm brown for the fur, then a lighter cream for the belly and a darker shade for the tail band. This free printable also works well for talking about how drawn expressions show happiness.
