Toothy-Grinned Werehog From Sonic the Hedgehog

Hunched over with a toothy grin and narrowed eyes, Sonic the Werehog fills this bold-lined page. His body looks wolf-like, with pointed ears, swept-back quills and long arms ending in sharp claws. One hand reaches toward you with the fingers spread, and the other arm is bent back, with fluffy fur around the wrist and forearm. His chunky sneakers have spikes and studs, and fuzzy cuffs sit above them at the ankles. Nothing else is on the page, so your child can focus on the character. Thick outlines and large open areas suit confident crayon users, while the fur tufts and claws give older kids small details to tackle. Deep blue could work for the fur, peach for the chest and muzzle, and bright red for the shoes. Print it for classroom time or a rainy day.
