Track and Field Day: Long Jump and High Jump, Sports Coloring Page
Coloring guide
In the front, a smiling girl with wavy hair lands in a sandy long jump pit, with sand spraying around her sneakers and her arms thrown back for balance. Farther back, another child grins as they arch over a high jump bar, with a thick landing mat just past it. Four kids in tank tops and shorts race down the running track on the left. The stadium has plenty going on, including crowded grandstands, rows of waving flags, a tall floodlight, a small tent and flowering bushes along the edges. Kids who like track and field or busy crowd scenes will have a good time with it. Save it as a free PDF for a classroom project or weekend craft. People who enjoy Sports coloring pages often like Soccer and NHL / Hockey as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the running track and the lanes in the background using burnt orange, leaving the white lines and runners' outlines clean.
- 2Color the grass areas and the tree leaves with lime green and leaf green, then add grass green to the bushes and the tall trees.
- 3Fill the sky with ice blue and the stadium roof with dusty blue gray, then color the high jump mat in bright blue and navy blue.
- 4Color the girl in the foreground: light tan for her skin, sky blue for her tank top, chestnut brown for her hair, and navy blue for her shorts.
- 5Add the sand in the long jump pit with sand yellow, then use golden yellow for the flags and the runner's tank top.
- 6Finish the high jumper's red shorts with bright red, keep the boy's shirt and the tent white, and add light gray to the crowd and stands.
