A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large blue areas of the robot's body, lower torso, cannon and upper arm with royal blue, and use navy blue for the darkest bottom leg section.
- 2Color the big red armor panels on the rescue bot's shoulders, back fins, and arm plates with bright red, then add dark red to the deeper red shadow panels.
- 3Paint the large grey armored plates on the arms, forearms and elbows with light gray, and the darker joints and wrists with medium gray.
- 4Color the man's cap in bright red, add dark red to the cap badge and the lower cap area, and fill his arm sleeve and collar with dark red.
- 5Add golden yellow to the small details such as the gun grip and the vest accents on the man's chest. Keep the big white chest panel, the bottom white area, and the logo letters white.
- 6Optional: Add a little slate gray or medium gray along the edges of the armor plates to give the drawing a bit of depth.
