Treehouse Kitten and Puppy with a Rope Ladder, Talking Tom Printable
Coloring guide
This detailed page shows a smiling kitten and a happy puppy peeking over the railing of a cozy wooden treehouse. The treehouse has a pointed roof with a waving flag on top, round windows, a hanging lantern and a telescope on the balcony. A rope ladder with wooden rungs hangs from the deck next to the thick, textured trunk. Two little birds sit on leafy branches, and a birdhouse is tucked onto the side of the tree. Flowers and grass surround the trunk at the bottom, and a winding path leads toward a fence, a river and faraway hills. Soft browns and warm tans are nice for the wooden planks, and bright greens for the leaves. Print or download it free for a quick coloring break. Looking for more? - 1Start with the big sky and background areas: leave the clouds and sky gaps white, and color the distant hills and mountains with lavender gray and sky blue for the river.
- 2Color the tree trunk and branches in wood brown, and the treehouse walls and roof in tan brown, keeping the leaf outlines and highlights white.
- 3Fill the porch railing and planks with pale honey, and the puppy with golden orange, leaving its muzzle and paws pale cream.
- 4Color the kitten in light gray and the flag in coral red, with the flag pole in sunny yellow.
- 5Paint the leaves, bushes and grass in bright green and forest green, and add the birds in sky blue.
- 6Finish with the ladder rungs in golden orange and tan brown. Optional: add a little darker wood brown under the roof edges for depth.
