Cozy Treehouse with a Rope Ladder and Birds in the Forest

A cozy wooden treehouse rests on a thick trunk, with a rope ladder of wooden rungs dangling to the ground. The little house has a plank door, a round window with a cross-shaped frame, a lantern hanging by the door and a railed porch. Blooms and trailing vines spill from a flower box on the railing. Three small birds are around it: one on a branch at the left, one on a branch at the right and one flying across the top. Leafy branches frame the scene, and pine trees, round bushes and flowers in the grass fill the background. All those planks and leaves mean lots of detail to color. Try browns and tans for the wood, soft pink and yellow for the flower box and bright greens for the leaves. Beginners and patient colorists will both like it.
