Tumbling Aliens in a Ben 10 Cloud Burst
Coloring guide
Two cartoon aliens go tumbling through the air in a burst of jagged, cloud-like puffs, which makes for a lively page if your kids like dramatic poses. Up on the left, a skinny character with a triangular head, big round eyes and an open, shouting mouth throws out its arms like it just got knocked back. On the right, a second character flips head-down under a large domed shell covered in circuit-style lines. It has a small round head, a wide grin, raised hands and a round badge on its chest. The curvy shapes and wavy outline leave lots of room for bold color. Electric blue or green could light up the circuit lines, and soft gray or lavender clouds will keep the characters in front. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big purple alien body, its chest, and the small green alien's tail in orchid purple, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Fill the red alien's arms, hands, head top, and mouth area with coral red, and color its foot in brick red.
- 3Color the big alien's head, back ridges, and spiky side panels in sky blue, then fill the cloud behind the figures in light blue.
- 4Use lime green for the small alien's head, arms, hands, and chest, and add a magenta stripe along the big alien's side.
- 5Finish the details: charcoal gray for the red alien's shirt, light gray for its shoe and hand, taupe for the belt, dusty brown for the foot, and deep purple for the lower tail fin. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the purple body to make it pop.
