Twin Palm Trees Leaning Over a Tiny Island

Coloring guide
Two curved palm trees lean away from each other on a tiny island, their trunks marked with bands and little dots. Each tree has big drooping fronds with curved stripe lines, and a cluster of round coconuts with a crisscross net pattern sits right under the leaves. At the base, a few spiky tufts of grass poke up from the rounded patch of land, and a wavy puddle-like outline of water spreads around the island. The open white sky leaves plenty of room for a background. Try greens and yellows for the fronds, browns for the trunks and coconuts, and light blue for the water. It also works well for a summer lesson on islands, since kids can talk about what grows near the beach. Print it free and use crayons or markers.
