Busy Bees and Sunflowers Color by Number (Adult)
Coloring guide
Two smiling bees with little antennae and rounded wings hover at the top of this garden scene, each one trailing a dashed flight path marked 10. Beneath them stands a tall sunflower with a dotted center, with a smaller sunflower to its left and two daisy-style flowers lower down. Three tulips grow on slender stems among long leaves on the right. Small pebbles, grass tufts and a few mounded bushes cover the ground. Every section has a number from 1 to 10, so kids can follow along and build up the whole picture. You could try 8 for sunny yellow petals, 3 for leafy green and 9 for pink tulips. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bee wings in sky blue and the big leaves, stems, and tall flower stalks in leaf green.
- 2Fill the light green grass tufts at the bottom corners, then use dark green for the darker front leaves near the bottom.
- 3Color all the tulips bright red, leaving the tulip stems and small gaps white where they show.
- 4Use golden yellow for the sunflower petals, daisy petals, and bee bodies, adding a few orange petals near the middle sunflower.
- 5Color the flower centers brown, the rocks caramel, and the purple daisy petals lavender purple.
- 6Finish with black stripes on the bees and the small details; keep the clouds, pebbles, and background white. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the leaves and petals for depth.
