Two Ben 10 style aliens share this page, both drawn tipped onto their sides on a plain white background. The one on top is muscular and long-armed, with a big round eye on its torso, smaller eyes dotted along its body, a spiky crest and striped bands on its wrists and legs. Below it sits a bulky, armored alien with thick rounded shell plates, pointed horns, sharp claws and a jagged, toothy mouth shape across its chest. Both wear an hourglass-style emblem on the belt or side. The large open shapes work well for small hands, and the eyes and spikes give older kids more to do. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large body areas of both creatures, the top body and the bottom torso, arms, and legs, with olive green, leaving the eye whites, helmet top, belly patch, and chest center white.
- 2Color the dark bands and bulky joints, such as the middle leg bands, the torso strap, and the small side spots, with charcoal gray.
- 3Paint the bright red accents on the upper legs, the chest strap, the front claw hand, and the lower foot claws with bright red.
- 4Fill the open mouth area of the bottom creature with lemon yellow, then add the dark red spike and the small rust orange face patch.
- 5Add moss green to the small side spot on the top creature and fill the remaining small details, keeping the claw tips and eye whites white.
- 6Optional: Add light shading along the edges of the olive green areas with a slightly darker tone to give the creatures more depth.
