Two Blocky Climbers Scrambling Over Giant Stone Cubes

Two square-headed, blocky figures crouch and climb together in the middle of a scene made of large cubes. One figure in the back faces us with a small frowning face, thick eyebrows and a blocky body. The other figure leans in front with its head turned away, so we mostly see a big square head with jagged hair edges, a long rectangular arm stretched across the middle and a boxy leg. One foot rests on a stepped block at the bottom. Big cube shapes and flat ledges fill the background, and the figures have simple angular arms and legs. Try coloring the two figures in different shirt and hair colors so they stand apart, then use grays, browns or greens for the stacked blocks. The wide, open shapes are easy for younger kids to fill in, and the straight edges make it a nice page for practicing shading on cubes.
