Two Cartoon Deer Looking Back Over Their Shoulders

Coloring guide
Two deer stand side by side in simple, bold outlines, and both turn their heads to look back over their backs. The smaller one on the left is a fawn with two pointed ears, a round eye, a small dark nose and a short tail that flicks up. The taller one on the right has two branching antlers, big ears, a gentle smile line and a similar tail. Both have slim legs with little hooves and an oval shape on each shoulder. The large open areas are easy for small hands to fill in. This free printable works well for a lesson on how young and adult deer differ. Ask kids to color the antlered deer and the fawn in different browns, then talk about which one is older and how they can tell.
