Two Children on Santa Claus's Lap by the Tree
Coloring guide
Santa sits in a big cushioned armchair with a smiling child on each knee. On his left is a boy, and on his right a girl with a bow in her hair. He has a fluffy hat with a pom-pom, a wide belt with a square buckle and fur-trimmed boots, and his curly mustache and beard frame a cheerful face. A tall Christmas tree stands behind the chair with a star on top, round ornaments and a looping garland. A wrapped present with a bow sits in each bottom corner of the floor. Thick, clear outlines make this free printable easy for little hands. Shiny metallic crayons would be fun on the ornaments, and each present can get its own bright wrapping paper pattern. This fits right in with our Santa Claus coloring pages — see also Disney Christmas and Christmas for Kids.

- 2Fill Santa's suit, hat, pants and the girl's dress with bright red, leaving the fur trim, beard and gloves white.
- 3Color the boy's sweater with sky blue and his jeans with denim blue, then make his shoes bright red with white soles.
- 4Use light peach for the faces, ears and hands, keep the eyes white, and color the boy's hair chestnut brown and the girl's hair golden yellow.
- 5Color Santa's boots and the bottoms of his boots charcoal gray, the belt black with a golden yellow buckle, and the gift boxes bright red or sky blue with golden yellow ribbons.
- 6Optional: add a few bright red and golden yellow ornaments to the tree and a little dark brown shading on the boots and the armchair edges.
