Two Dolphins Swimming Together, Adult and Baby

Coloring guide
A large dolphin swims across the top of the page while a smaller dolphin follows below and slightly behind it. Both are drawn in simple outline with long, narrow beaks, a small curved smile, round eyes, a triangular dorsal fin, side flippers and a tail fluke. The bigger dolphin has a wide, smooth body that curves down to a tail on the right, and the smaller one is a scaled-down version in the same pose. There is no background, so all the white space is open for water, bubbles or anything else a child wants to add. The clean lines and big areas make it a good fit for crayons and markers. Try coloring the two dolphins in slightly different shades of gray or blue, then talk about how the smaller one is the calf and stays close to its mother. This free printable also works well for a short lesson on ocean animals.
