A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the two girls' dresses and skirts and the lower mirror glass in sky blue, leaving the white collars and lace uncolored.
- 2Fill the upper mirror glass and its sparkles, the window panes and the picture frame with pale blue, then add the swirl across the lower mirror in light blue.
- 3Color the curtains, the round rug and the pink tie-back in soft pink, and the wooden floor, table and table leg in warm brown.
- 4Paint the cat orange, the girls' faces, arms, hands and legs peach, and the hair, mirror frame and bows golden yellow.
- 5Add red to the shoes and leave the socks, the collars, the sparkles and the wall background white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading with a slightly darker blue in the folds of the dresses and skirts.
