Two Kids Riding a Wooden Sled Downhill

Two children in winter clothes race down a snowy hill on a wooden sled. The child in front sits with legs forward, feet in tall boots resting on the steering bar, and holds the rope with mittened hands. Behind, the second child leans over the first with a long striped scarf with fringe blowing back in the wind. Both are smiling. The front child wears a hooded coat and the child behind wears a brimmed cap with ear flaps. Small speed lines trail behind them, snowflakes dot the sky, and a lone evergreen tree sits on a distant hill. The sled has detailed runners, which are fun to color. Try drawing a pattern of stripes on the scarf with several colors, then pick bright mittens and boots so they stand out against the pale snow. This free printable page also works well for talking about winter safety and taking turns on the sled.
