Two Penguins Hanging Ornaments on a Christmas Tree

Two penguins stand on either side of a big Christmas tree and hang round ornaments on it. The penguin on the left wears a long Santa-style hat with a pom-pom, and the one on the right has a knit cap and a scarf. The right penguin holds a round ball up toward the branches, and a small fish lies on the ground near its feet. More empty round ornaments sit on the tree and on the snowy ground, and a few icicle shapes hang from the branches. Each section carries a number from 1 to 9, and the key on the side lists the French color names: vert clair, bleu clair, noir, orange, brun, rouge, violet, rose and jaune. This free printable is a good chance to practice matching numbers to colors. Try leaving the round ornaments for last and letting kids pick their own colors for them.
