Two Penguins Racing Downhill on a Wooden Sled
Coloring guide
Two cheerful baby penguins speed down a snowy slope on a wooden sled. The one in back wears a knit beanie with a pom-pom and a striped scarf, and has one flipper stretched out sideways. The one in front also has a striped scarf and waves a flipper in the air. Both have big smiles and sparkly eyes. Small snow splashes fly up beside the sled, and curved lines show the hill. In the background are fluffy clouds and snow-covered evergreens of different sizes. Large shapes and bold lines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Red and green stripes on the scarves and beanie look festive, and a soft pale blue sky lets the penguins stand out. Print or download it for a calm, creative break. Looking for more? - 1Color the top cloud and the two small clouds in pale ice blue, leaving the background white.
- 2Fill both pine trees with forest green, and keep the snowy tops white.
- 3Color the hat top in sky blue and the hat band stripes in royal blue, then add the back penguin's blue scarf in royal blue.
- 4Color both penguins' bodies and heads in charcoal gray, keeping the white bellies and eye whites untouched.
- 5Use golden yellow for the beaks, feet and mittens, and add red-orange and golden yellow stripes to the front scarf.
- 6Color the sled wood in caramel brown and the metal runners in silver gray. Optional: add a little shading on the penguins with a darker gray for a rounder look.
