A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big grass areas: color the bottom and side grass and the hills in leaf green, and the bushes in light green for a fresh base.
- 2Color the sky background with the rainbow: outer band in light brown, next band golden yellow, then sky blue and bright blue, leaving the sky area white.
- 3Fill the castle in lavender for the walls and baby pink for the towers, then add violet and periwinkle to the tops and roofs.
- 4Color the lavender pony in lavender, its mane and tail in baby pink and hot pink, and the white pony in white with a golden yellow tail and rose pink mane.
- 5Add the detail colors: sky blue on the small bush, tan on the ribbon-like accents, and leave the eye whites, hoof highlights, and white pony body white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading with a slightly darker green on the grass and a deeper lavender on the lavender pony's shadow side for depth.
