Two Roses on Thorny Stems with Leaves

Two roses sit side by side at the top of long, slightly curved stems, with the right bloom a little higher and overlapping the left one. Each flower has a tight center bud wrapped in layers of rounded petals, so there are plenty of curved sections to fill in. Small thorns stick out along the stems, and a ruffled sepal cup sits under each flower. Near the bottom, two large leaves with jagged edges and visible center veins point out to the left and right. The thick outer lines make this easy for younger kids to stay inside, while the inner petal lines give older kids room for shading. Try coloring each petal layer in a slightly deeper shade of the same color, starting light at the outer edge and darkening toward the center bud.
