Matryoshka Dolls Lined Up in Two Facing Rows

Matryoshka Dolls Lined Up in Two Facing Rows coloring sheet

Coloring guide

Two rows of Russian nesting dolls face each other, each row shrinking from one large doll in front down to tiny ones in the distance. The big dolls on the left and right have round faces with circle cheeks, long lashes, and headscarves framing their hair. Each wears a collared top with small flowers and a rounded body with a big daisy in the middle. A scalloped border with tiny flowers runs along the bottom, and the dolls stand on little round bases with dark shadows stretching across the ground. The words "Russian dolls" appear in outline letters below. Try coloring each pair in matching colors, then make the smaller dolls a lighter shade of the same color so the size order is easy to see. It also works well for a lesson on how nesting dolls fit together. The printable page has plenty of open space on the scarves and daisies for markers or crayons.
