Picnic Day for Two Disney Cars Buddies
Coloring guide
Two cartoon cars sit side by side on a checkered picnic blanket, and their big round eyes and wide smiles make them look like best friends. The one on the right has long eyelashes and a small curl of hair on top. In front of them you'll see a woven picnic basket with a handle, a plate with two sandwiches, and a bowl of apples, grapes and a banana. A large leafy tree and rounded bushes fill the background, and two smiling butterflies flutter along dotted trails. Daisy-style flowers and grass tufts tuck into the corners. There are lots of little spaces here for young colorers. Red apples, a yellow banana and a soft green meadow would be a nice start. Print this free page whenever you need it. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the tree: color the trunk brown and the leafy top leaf green, leaving the small white highlight near the right side of the trunk white.
- 2Fill the bushes, the grass patches and the leaves on the right with leaf green and lime green for a fresh outdoor feel.
- 3Color the red car body red, its roof red, and the bumper light gray, then add the light blue windows and the red headlights.
- 4Paint the blue car body sky blue and its roof and bumper to match, keeping the eye whites white while you fill the rest of the eyes around them.
- 5Use golden yellow for the headlights and the banana, charcoal gray for the wheels and picnic basket, and light beige for the sandwich bread.
- 6Finish the picnic: fill the blanket squares with pale pink and rose pink in a checkered pattern, leave the white squares white, then color the apples, grapes and the butterflies. Optional: add a little darker shade along the edges of the cars for depth.
