Two Striped Kittens Climbing an Apple Tree Branch

Two striped kittens share a leafy apple tree branch. One kitten peeks out from behind the leaves at the top left, with its paw resting on the branch. The second kitten hangs below it, front paws gripping the limb, with its long striped body and tail dangling down toward the clouds. Both have big sparkly eyes, small noses and happy smiles. Round apples with shine marks hang among heart-shaped leaves, and two little birds fly nearby with fluffy clouds scattered around them. The stripes give lots of room for pattern practice. Try coloring each kitten a different shade, like orange and gray, so the two stand apart, then pick red and green for the apples and leaves. It also works well as a talking point about animals that climb trees. The page is free to print, and it suits a range of ages with its mix of large and small areas.
