A little unicorn pony in a tiny crown rises on her hind legs and stretches one front hoof toward a round bubble. Inside is a smiling cat with whiskers, a fluffy raised tail and outstretched paws, and little motion lines by its tail show it tumbling around. The pony has a single spiral horn, a long flowing wavy mane and tail, a decorative bow near her tail and a fancy oval symbol on her hip. In the bottom left corner, a half-round gem or dome sends out rays of light, with a few small lines hinting at movement. There's a lot of flowing hair to shade on this free page. Lilac or soft pink could go on the mane and tail, golden yellow on the crown and horn, and a pale blue wash on the bubble helps the cat stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cat: fill its body and paws with orange, and its tail with red orange, leaving the bubble around it white.
- 2Color the ball at the bottom in sky blue, then fill the pony's bow with sky blue and its ribbon ends with periwinkle blue.
- 3Use golden yellow for the horn, the crown and its jewel, and the yellow streaks in the mane and tail.
- 4Add hot pink and rose pink to the mane and tail streaks, the hip mark, and the pink strands, keeping the pony's coat, eyes and bubble white.
- 5Fill the small patches near the cat's tail and the bubble rim with light peach, and use pale lavender and periwinkle blue for the lighter mane strands.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker shade along one side of the cat and the tail to make the colors pop.
