Unicorn Under a Rainbow Color by Number
Coloring guide
Standing on a grassy hill, this young unicorn has a gentle smile, big sparkly eyes and a long wavy mane that falls past its shoulder. A spiral horn rises between two pointed ears, and a curly, striped tail swoops out behind. A rainbow arches over the whole scene, with a puffy cloud at each end. Small tufts of grass dot the hill. Every section has a number, so kids can match colors to the key as they work. For the arches, try the classic rainbow order, then repeat those shades in the mane and tail. A soft pastel suits the body, and a bright accent looks good on the hooves. This free printable page is great for number recognition and careful coloring. Love this Color by Number coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rainbow arcs: color the top band tomato red, the next golden yellow, then light green, sky blue, and rich purple, working from the outside in.
- 2Fill both clouds with pale sky blue, leaving the unicorn's white body and the hill background untouched.
- 3Color the mane and tail next: use baby pink for the lower strands, lavender purple near the top, sky blue on the left strands, and pale yellow on the bottom curls.
- 4Add the golden yellow horn and color the bangs, then leave the face, ear inner areas, and small highlights white.
- 5Color the hooves baby pink and the little grass tufts and patch grass green on the hill.
- 6Optional: add a little soft shading along the edges of the mane and tail to make them look fluffy.
