Upward Gaze Portrait of Ariel With a Large Shell

A young woman with long flowing hair is drawn from the shoulders up, her face turned slightly to the side and her eyes gazing upward. She has big eyes with long lashes, a small nose, and an open smile. A large shell is tucked into her hair above her ear, and she wears a dangling drop earring. Her hair sweeps up in a tall curve over her forehead and falls in long lines down her back and shoulders. She has a rounded neckline with a double border and puffy sleeves with leaf-shaped cutouts. This is clearly Ariel from The Little Mermaid. The large open areas of hair are great for practicing smooth, even strokes. Try a bright red for her hair and soft pearly pinks or lilacs for the shell. Crayons and colored pencils both work well here, and the printable is free to download.
