Vault Straddle Jump in Gymnastics
Coloring guide
A young gymnast with a high ponytail flies over a vaulting table in a straddle split, legs wide and both hands reaching down toward the top of the vault. Her sleeveless leotard has a curved stripe across the middle, and her bare feet point out to each side of the page. Underneath you'll see the padded vault on its sturdy center stand, a springboard with two visible coils, and a stack of thick landing mats tucked behind. Bold, clean lines keep the big shapes easy for small hands, and the hair, stripe and spring details give older kids more to do. It's a good free printable for gymnastics lovers and sports-day activities. Go with a purple or teal leotard, classic blue for the vault and springboard, and red mats for a real gym-class look. Fans of Gymnastics coloring pages often like NHL / Hockey and Cheerleading as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the vault column, the base block and all three mats with bright blue, leaving the middle mat on the left and right as bright red.
- 2Fill the main body of the vault table with wood tan and the thin ring under the top with golden brown, then color the top edge pale yellow.
- 3Use light blue for the lower edges of the vault base and the small step pieces, and light gray for the base plate and both springs.
- 4Color the face, arms, legs, hands and hips peach, then fill the swimsuit with hot pink and leave the white stripe across it white.
- 5Color the ponytail and hair with chestnut brown, leaving the bright white highlights on the front and top of the hair untouched.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the edges of the mats and the vault top to make the shapes pop.
