Walking Buck With Antlers Facing Right

A single buck walks across the page in side view, facing right with his head held level. He has a set of branching antlers with several tines, one large ear, a small eye, and a dark rounded nose. His slim neck leads into a smooth body with a few short lines marking muscle on the shoulder, belly, and hip. One back leg is lifted mid-step, so the hoof hangs in the air, while the other three legs stay planted. Small tail details show at the rear. There is no background, which leaves lots of open space to work with. Kids could try a brown palette with lighter shades on the belly and legs, and gray or tan for the antlers. This free printable is also a nice prompt for talking about how bucks grow antlers and how deer move on their long, thin legs.
