Walking Buck Glancing Toward the Viewer

Coloring guide
A large buck walks to the left across the page, its head turned to look toward the viewer. Tall antlers rise from its head with several long, upright points, and its big ears stick out to each side. The lines are clean and fairly simple. The body is mostly open space, with a few small marks for fur on the face, neck, belly, and legs. One front leg is lifted mid-step, and the short tail is visible at the back. There is a bit of ground sketched under the hooves. The big open areas are good for younger kids who want to color without fiddly details. Try browns, tans, and warm grays, then shade the belly lighter than the back. Older children can count the antler points and talk about how bucks grow new antlers each year. This page is free to print.
