Warrior Cat Climbing an Oak Tree to Meet a Squirrel

Coloring guide
A fluffy cat stretches up a thick, bark-textured tree trunk, gripping with its front paws while its back legs push against the wood and its long tail curls behind. With wide eyes and an open mouth, it looks up at a small squirrel on a branch above, who peeks down with a bushy tail and a friendly expression. Oak leaves fill the scene, and acorns hang from the branches on both the left and right. At the bottom, a rounded bush and a few grass tufts frame the base of the tree. The cat and trunk are big shapes that suit younger kids, and the leaf veins and bark lines give older children more to do. Warm autumn browns and oranges look good on the leaves and acorns, and the cat could have a soft gray or ginger coat. Print this sheet at home and keep a few spares. - orange
- leaf green
- bark brown
- light green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: color the cat's body, head, tail and legs, and the squirrel's body and tail, using orange.
- 2Color the oak leaves and the grass and bushes at the bottom using leaf green, and use light green for the lighter grass patches.
- 3Fill the tree branches and the bark of the trunk with bark brown, keeping the bright trunk on the right white.
- 4Color the acorns with golden brown, then fill the inside of the cat's left ear with soft pink.
- 5Leave the cat's eye whites, the tree trunk on the right and the sky background white. Optional: add a few darker strokes of bark brown along the trunk for depth.
