Watering Can Fairy Under a Smiling Sun
Coloring guide
Mid-flight, a little fairy tips her watering can and sprinkles droplets down on three big flowers below. Her hair is in a bun with a flower on top, and she wears flower-decorated shoes and a layered petal-style skirt. She has large wings and an open-mouthed happy smile. Up in the right corner, a cheerful sun with a smiling face and triangle rays watches over everything. Each flower has a round center and rounded petals, with leaves along the stems and grass tufts at the bottom. Big shapes and clean lines make this free printable a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids still building crayon and pencil control. Pink and purple petals, a bright yellow sun and light blue water drops will stand out nicely on the white paper. This fits right in with our Fairy coloring pages — see also Vampire and Yeti.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sun: fill its face with sunny yellow and its rays with golden yellow, leaving the rest of the page white.
- 2Color the wings next: use sky blue for the outer wing edges and pale blue for the inner wing areas.
- 3Fill the fairy's face, arms and legs with light peach, then color her hair bun and side locks chestnut brown.
- 4Dress the fairy in soft pink for the skirt petals and hot pink for the top, with hot pink shoes and a golden yellow watering can.
- 5Paint the flowers: lavender purple on the left, tomato red in the middle and soft pink on the right, with sunny yellow centers, then add grass green leaves and stems.
- 6Finish with bright blue water drops and leave the small shoe flower and grass tufts white. Optional: add a little darker shading along one side of each petal to add depth.
