Dreaming Fairy on a Flat Mushroom Cap

A fairy sits cross-legged on top of a flat, rounded mushroom cap with her head tilted back and her eyes closed. She has long wavy hair that curls at the ends, pointed ears, and a calm face. Her hands rest together near her ankles. She wears a simple leaf-shaped top and a small skirt with a tiny leaf at her hip. Behind her, two tall wings sweep upward in long, pointed feather shapes, and a lower pair of wings with smaller sections spreads out to each side. The mushroom has a few sketchy texture lines along its edge. The large wing sections give plenty of room for blending. Try coloring each feather in a slightly different shade of one color family, such as blues fading into purples, so the wings look layered. This free printable also suits older kids who like detailed work.
