Waving Boy and Robot Friend Under a Tree, Big Hero 6 Page
Coloring guide
A boy with spiky hair sits cross-legged on the grass, grinning at you and waving with one hand. Next to him is a round little robot with a big square screen face, two antennas, ear-like side pieces and a large circle on its belly. The robot looks every bit as happy as the boy does. On the left, a leafy tree with a wavy, cloud-shaped crown stands behind them, and small grass tufts and a little bush dot the ground. The boy has on a short-sleeve t-shirt, loose pants and chunky sneakers. Bold lines and big shapes make this free printable easy going for younger kids. Sky blue or lime green could work for the robot, with a warm red shirt on the boy, so the pair stands out from the green grass and tree. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the tree: fill the leaves with grass green and the trunk with chocolate brown, then add a grass green bush at the robot's side and a pale green patch near the bottom.
- 2Next, paint the boy's skin areas in peach skin, including his face, ears, neck and raised waving hand, and fill his messy hair with chocolate brown.
- 3Color the robot's body, shoulders, antenna balls, ears and foot rims in golden yellow, then fill its arms, legs and feet with bright blue and sky blue.
- 4Color the boy's shirt sky blue, his pants navy blue, and the sock band pale blue with a bright red stripe. Leave the shoe soles and toes white.
- 5Add the details: an orange circle on the robot's belly, coral pink for the robot's smile and the boy's tongue, and charcoal black for the boy's open mouth. Keep the robot's screen and the eye shines white.
- 6Optional: add a darker navy blue edge along the pants and a little extra chocolate brown in the hair to add depth.
