Hello from the Hill: Rainbow & Pot of Gold (St. Patrick's) Leprechaun

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• emerald green
• skin peach
• grass green
• leaf green
• orange
• lime green
• medium brown
• forest green
• pale lime
• golden yellow
• olive green
• dark brown

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the face, hands, and ears in skin peach, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
2. 2Color the top hat crown and the clover leaves and grass plants in grass green, then the hat band and pockets in forest green.
3. 3Fill the jacket, sleeves, and shorts with emerald green and leaf green, and the beard and eyebrows in orange.
4. 4Color the vest in lime green and the socks in pale lime with leaf green stripes, then the shoes and buckles in medium brown and the soles in dark brown.
5. 5Add the golden yellow buckle on the hat band and leave the clover stems and the gap between the legs white.
6. 6Optional: add a few darker strokes in the same colors along the jacket and hat edges to give them a bit of depth.
