Waving Princess in a Ball Gown with Stars
Coloring guide
This cheerful little princess waves hello with one hand and holds the side of her full skirt with the other. Her tiara is topped with a heart, and her long wavy hair falls past her shoulders. Big sparkly eyes and an open smile make her look sweet and welcoming. The ball gown has puffed sleeves, a small heart on the bodice, and a layered skirt with scalloped edges and round buttons. Five outlined stars float around her on the white background. That wide skirt and all the hair leave lots of room for crayons, and the stars are quick wins for younger kids. A soft lilac or sky blue dress looks nice, with golden yellow stars and tiara and a pink heart in the middle of the bodice. Print or download this free page whenever you need a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skirt panels and the tiara heart: fill them with hot pink, carefully staying inside the lines.
- 2Color the overskirt scallops, the puffy sleeves, and the cuffs with light pink to create the soft layered look.
- 3Fill the long wavy hair, including the curls and the top of the head, with chocolate brown, leaving the bangs and highlights lighter if you like.
- 4Color the face, neck, chest, and arms with peach skin, then add the mouth in rose pink.
- 5Use hot pink for the bodice, its heart, and the center waist gem, and use golden yellow for the stars and the side waist gems.
- 6Optional: add a few lighter strokes of light pink on the skirt and a little darker brown in the hair for depth, and leave the background white.
