- 1Start by filling the skin areas with soft lime green: the face, neck, nose, both ears, the raised arm, both hands and both feet. Leave the eye whites and the two front teeth white.
- 2Color the messy hair and the shorts with warm brown, working around the outline carefully.
- 3Fill the tattered shirt with steel blue, keeping the ragged bottom edge sharp.
- 4Add the coral pink details: the open mouth, the scar on the forehead, the patch on the elbow, the patch on the arm and the two ankle patches.
- 5Use soft lime green for the small star-shaped patches on the shirt and on the shorts so they blend with the skin.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of steel blue or warm brown along the edges for a bit of shading.
