Werewolf Lunging at Screaming Scooby-Doo

Coloring guide
Scooby-Doo throws his head back, eyes wide and mouth open in a huge scream, while a snarling werewolf looms right behind him. The monster has a shaggy mane, pointed ears, bared fangs and a wrinkled snout. One clawed hand is raised high over Scooby's head, and the other reaches toward the front of the picture. Scooby's collar and round name tag hang near the bottom. No background scenery, so the characters fill the whole page. It's a spooky-but-silly scene with large shapes and bold outlines, and the open mouths and furry parts give you lots to color. Brown with darker spots works for Scooby, while a moody gray or purple for the werewolf's fur helps the two stand apart. Save it as a free PDF for some quiet creative time. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the werewolf's fur and skin: color the arms, fists, fingers, face and ears with light tan, leaving the werewolf's eye whites white.
- 2Fill the big brown areas next: the fur behind the werewolf, the hair on his head and shoulders, and the fur on his right side with brown.
- 3Color the green jacket on the werewolf's back and shoulders with leaf green, adding dark green on the sleeve and the darker shade near the collar.
- 4Paint Scooby-Doo's ears, legs and the orange patches on his body with orange and pink, keep his cheek, chest and eye areas white, and fill his open mouth with salmon red and the tongue edge with cream.
- 5Finish with the small details: color the gadget's base golden yellow, its top and middle sections deep blue and sky blue, the wire orange, the shirt stripe in deep blue, and leave the background and the highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of rust red on the werewolf's hand and cheek to make the shadows stand out.
