Whale Shark Diving Left With Spots and Long Body Lines

Coloring guide
A large whale shark glides diagonally across the page with its wide, flat snout pointing toward the lower left. Its back is covered in small round spots and short curved marks, and long lines run along the body from head to tail. You can see one small round eye near the front, a tall triangular dorsal fin, a smaller second fin near the tail, a long pointed pectoral fin, and a tall tail fin at the upper right. The outlines are bold and the body has plenty of open space, so it works well for younger kids. Try coloring the body blue-gray and leaving the spots as white or pale yellow dots, then talk about how whale sharks are known for their spotted patterns. This free page is also handy for an ocean unit.
