Orchard Path Past Apple Trees and Daisies

Coloring guide
In this orchard scene, a dirt path curves between rows of apple trees and heads toward rolling hills far off. Big apple trees stand along both sides, with thick leafy crowns and round apples hanging from the branches. Smaller trees line the path as it winds back to a fence on the hillside, and a few tall cypress-style trees show up on the horizon. Up front, three whole apples with leaves rest in the grass, surrounded by grass tufts, small daisy-like flowers and leafy plants. Fluffy clouds drift across the sky. Red and green fit the apples, warm browns suit the trunks and path, and the flowers can get soft yellow centers. The free PDF is ready to print at home for a quick coloring break any time. This fits right in with our Apple coloring pages — see also Girl Power and Hot Dog.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the winding path and the small stones on it with sandy beige, leaving the tiny pebble outlines white.
- 2Color all the apples with apple red, and use rust orange for the small shaded apple near the middle tree.
- 3Fill the leafy tree crowns, bushes, and hedges with grass green, then add lime green to the grass tufts and flowery ground in front.
- 4Color the tree trunks and the bark at the bottom of the trees with tree bark brown.
- 5Use sea green and blue teal for the distant hills and the tall cypress trees, keeping the sky clouds and daisy centers white.
- 6Optional: Add a slightly darker green in the shady parts of the leaves and under the trees to add depth.
