Winged Dragon With Long Coiled Serpent Body

A dragon with a long, snake-like body twists in an S-shaped curve down the page. Its head sits at the top with a long snout, two watchful eyes, and an open mouth showing sharp pointed teeth and a curled tongue. Two large bat-style wings spread out to each side, each with scalloped edges and a few simple panels. The body loops around in a big oval near the middle, then finishes in a small spiral coil with the tail trailing off at the bottom. The lines are clean and the shapes are big, so it works well for crayons, markers, or colored pencils. Try coloring the body in a gradient from dark green at the head to light green at the tail, and use a different color for each wing panel. This free printable is a good fit for kids who like tracing curves with their eyes.
