Winged Dragon With Open Mouth and Curling Tail

A dragon is drawn lying on its side, with a large bat-style wing stretched upward and a long tail that sweeps around in a big curve on the left. The head sits at the lower right with an open mouth full of jagged teeth, a long pointed crest, and a small curl of hair at the back. Spiky frills run along the neck, and the wing has ribbed sections that make good spots for different shades. Several clawed feet with curved talons are drawn along the body. Try coloring each wing panel in a slightly different tone to show the membrane between the bones. This page is free to print and works well for kids who like to add detail with markers or colored pencils.
