Two Transformers robots in the Robots in Disguise style share this action-heavy page. The one on top leaps with both arms flung wide and sharp claws spread, with spiky, blade-like wings behind it and a fierce horned face. Underneath, a second robot with an Autobot emblem on its chest strides forward with one knee up, a big round wheel on its leg and a fist clenched at its side. With no background, there's lots of open white space for kids to dream up their own ideas. A small Robots in Disguise logo sits in the bottom corner. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the chest plate, shoulders, wing panels and arms with bright red, leaving the torso center white.
- 2Fill the upper and lower legs, hips and the big hip shield with royal blue, using a slightly darker navy along the shadowed edges.
- 3Color the wing tips, claws, feet and the top of the head with charcoal, and use maroon for the darker red shading on the wing base.
- 4Add light gray to the knee cannon, thigh pieces and the left arm, then steel gray on the thruster rings and light cyan on the small glowing panel.
- 5Finish with golden yellow on the small square panels on the shin and the peach tone on the left hand, keeping the face and claw highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of dark brown or medium gray along the edges to give the metal parts a bit of depth.
