Halloween Vampire Costume Winnie the Pooh with Pumpkin Hood and Bat

Dressed as a Halloween vampire, Pooh strides along with a big pumpkin pulled over his head like a hood. His face looks out from the front with little fangs showing, and a pointed cape flares out behind him. A knotted neckerchief sits at his collar. One hand is stretched out holding a melting candle on a small dish. On top of the pumpkin perches a tiny bat-like creature with big pointed ears, fangs and spread wings, and it seems to be Piglet in costume. A striped stem curls up from the pumpkin. The lines are bold and clean, so it prints well for Halloween parties or a rainy afternoon. Try bright orange for the pumpkin, deep purple for the cape and wings, and warm yellow for the candle flame. The PDF is free to print at home for a classroom project or weekend craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the pumpkin head and its ridges with pumpkin orange, then color the pumpkin stem area at the bottom in the same orange.
- 2Color the bear's body, raised arm, legs and lower feet in warm brown, leaving the cream muzzle, ears, chest and paws for the next step.
- 3Fill the bat's large wings, head and ears with dusky purple, color the bat's inner ears soft pink, and add the leaf green stripes on its tail.
- 4Color the long cape in wine red with the top edge and collar in charcoal gray, then fill the scarf in bright red and the shirt collar and sleeve in charcoal gray and bright red.
- 5Add the cream muzzle, chest, cheek and paws, the candle base in cream, and the flame in golden yellow.
- 6Optional: add chocolate brown spots on the bat's wings and a few darker shadows along the cape to add depth.
