Young Buck Deer Glancing Back at the Viewer

A young deer stands in profile with its body facing left while its head turns to look back toward the viewer. It has two branching antlers with a few simple points, two pointed ears, a large round eye with a small highlight, and a dark nose. A short tail with a pointed tip sits at the rear, and all four legs end in small hooves with a band drawn near the bottom. The outline is clean and thick, and the body has no spots or background, so there is plenty of open space to fill in. Kids could try shading the coat in two browns, leaving the tail tip and hoof bands in a lighter or darker color. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on how antlers differ from ears and legs.
