Zazu With Paintbrushes, Disney Alphabet Letter Z
Coloring guide
Zazu the hornbill from The Lion King stands beside a large outlined letter Z, holding a bundle of long paintbrushes in his wing. The brushes angle up along the diagonal of the letter, as if he's about to paint it. His head tilts back, his eyes are heavy-lidded and his beak is curved, giving him that dry, unimpressed look he's known for. ALPHABET and the Disney logo run across the top. The chunky block letter leaves younger kids lots of room for crayons, while Zazu's feathers and tail give older children smaller areas to work on. Bright blue makes a good letter Z, and the brush handles look nice in a few different shades. No sign-up needed, just print it. Love this Disney Alphabet coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big letter Z and its top bar with royal blue, keeping the bird's cape and wing in the same blue for a matching look.
- 2Color the bird's belly and neck with cream beige, leaving small gaps where the wing meets the body.
- 3Paint the paintbrush bodies and their feet in tangerine orange, using coral red for the top brush tip and the bird's beak.
- 4Color the title letters, the brush tips and the bands near the brush handles with golden yellow, leaving the small white highlights untouched.
- 5Add navy blue to the bird's crest and ear, then pale sky blue to the top of its head, keeping the eye white.
- 6Optional: Add a little peach orange at the tip of the beak and a few darker strokes on the blue letter for depth.
