Wooden Box Hug with Zenitsu, Demon Slayer Close-Up

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• lemon yellow
• amber orange
• peach skin
• tangerine orange
• wood brown
• light gray

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big kimono areas: color the robe, sleeves and lower fabric in lemon yellow, leaving the white triangle patterns unfilled.
2. 2Fill the darker lower parts of the robe and the hem with tangerine orange, and the sleeve folds with amber orange for warmth.
3. 3Color the hair in lemon yellow, then add a touch of amber orange near the roots and ear for depth.
4. 4Use peach skin for the face, neck, cheek, jaw and hands, keeping the eye whites and the sleeve highlight white.
5. 5Color the wooden box slats and lid in wood brown, and fill the light gray collar and sleeve cuffs.
6. 6Optional: Add a few quick hatch lines in the darker shadow areas of the kimono and box to make the drawing feel more dramatic.
