A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and mountain areas: color the mountain ridges in cornflower blue and the bright aqua patches in light blue, leaving the snowy peaks and clouds white.
- 2Fill the penguin's hat in red and the spyglass in royal blue, keeping the goggles lenses pale blue and the eye whites white.
- 3Color the penguin's body and head in dark slate, leave the belly and chest white, and add the golden yellow beak and feet.
- 4Paint the flag red, the backpack in sage green and olive green, and the tree areas in leaf green and forest green.
- 5Color the rocks at the bottom in light gray and medium gray, and fill the river in ocean teal.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra depth by darkening the bottom edges of the rocks and the lower parts of the trees with a deeper shade of their color.
