Alien Passing to a Raccoon on a Space Jam Rock Court
Coloring guide
In this space scene, a big, friendly alien with a square head, two little horns and a wide smile leans down to pass a basketball to a tiny raccoon. Both wear basketball jerseys and shorts, and the raccoon has a striped tail, sneakers and one paw stretched up to catch the ball. They stand on a floating rocky platform with a court circle marked on top, and a few small rocks drift nearby. Around them sit a ringed planet, a wavy-striped planet, a cratered moon and a small banded planet among scattered stars. The big shapes are great for kids who like bold areas to fill in, and you can print it free as a PDF. Try bright lime green skin for the alien and a different color for each planet so they show up against a dark blue sky. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the alien: fill its head, neck, arms, legs and feet with lime green, leaving the small horns for later.
- 2Color the alien's tank top and shorts royal blue, and add a few white trim lines on the tank top and shorts.
- 3Fill the raccoon's body and tail with light gray, then add dark gray stripes on the tail and the shadowy parts of the face and back, leaving the eye whites and the chest stripe white.
- 4Give the raccoon a red shirt and royal blue shorts, and fill the basketball with orange, adding darker orange lines for its seams.
- 5Color the floating rock base brown, the court surface light gray with a lemon yellow rim, and the planets in sky blue, purple, orange and golden yellow, then add lemon yellow stars and leave the background white.
- 6Optional: Add darker shading under the alien and raccoon and on the lower rock edges to make the scene feel more three-dimensional.
